Case study: comedy club of columbia

Background

The Comedy Club of Columbia went public with their intention of opening a comedy club in August of 2023.


They have since amassed a large following on Facebook, hosting public pop-up shows at various venues, private shows with organizations such as Columbia College, and comedy portions at upcoming events such as Andrea Lyn Event's wellness event in April of 2024.


The Comedy Club of Columbia announced that their own venue would open later in 2024 with shows on a weekly basis.

Explosive Growth

Our campaign designed for the CCoC saw faster growth than any other local Facebook page within the past five years, including some of the most notable up-and-coming restaurants and regions of Columbia centered around entertainment.


Amassing 1,000 followers in less than five days, they now maintain a presence of 5,900 followers from Columbia and the surrounding counties.


While timing and filling a void attribute to such significant results, we pride ourselves on the efficacy of our brand awareness capabilities.

Effective Results

Brand awareness is only the first step in the sales funnel.


We grew the Comedy Club of Columbia's Facebook page to 4,100 followers by the time of their October 11th pop-up show, while also implementing campaigns for the show itself.

Propel has since been effective in producing hundreds of ticket sales for pop-up shows, and continues to implement campaigns for open-microphone shows established by the CCoC.
